F.Kep Unhas held a Guest Lecture from the Nursing Department, Faculty of Health Science, Okayama University, Japan (Professor Yoko Aihara) on Monday, (17/02) at 13.00 WITA in the LPPM Unhas Hall. The activity was attended by the Vice Dean for Research Partnerships, Innovation and Alumni (Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes), Lecturers and Nursing Students
This activity is an Implementation of Cooperation in the field of education for the development of Nursing for both institutions. Professor Yoko Aihara presented material related to Community Health Nursing in Japan and The Role of Health Literacy on Chronic Disease Management
In the material, she conveyed the main role of nurses for public health in preventing disease to home care and elderly care, in addition to the development of technology through digital health programs that are useful for the community to conduct health consultations online and education in self-care to maintain health.
The activity lasted until 15.00 and was continued with a student discussion guided by Moderator Nurhaya Nurdin, S.Kep.Ns.,MN Lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing.
