F.Kep Unhas received a visit from a delegation from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Alice Lee Center for Nursing Studies accompanied by a Lecturer (Dr. Syaikh Ihsan) and 14 Students on Tuesday, (01/07) in the F.Kep Senate Room at 09.00 WITA. The activity was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Head of GPM, F.Kep Lecturers.
The Dean of F.Kep (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si) said that “With this visit, we hope to build an initiative for cooperation between F.Kep and NUS in the field of nursing. In addition, we also hope that this program can open up opportunities for the implementation of student exchanges and the development of advanced study programs,” he explained.
F.Kep Unhas’ commitment to expanding its international network, especially in the field of nursing education and research. Through this visit, it is expected to create sustainable collaboration between the two institutions, either in the form of student exchange, internship programs, joint research, or study continuation.
On this occasion, the NUS delegation had the opportunity to present a project on Project IRIS as an overseas community service initiative in collaboration with YKAKI (Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia) Makassar, presenting a program through Teddy Bear Hospital, a creative game-based approach that aims to help children with cancer feel more comfortable and safe in facing the medical environment.
