The Nursing Profession Study Program, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, held an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for 166 students from January 12–21, 2026, at the OSCE Building on the 2nd Floor of Hasanuddin University. The exam involved Faculty of Nursing lecturers and preceptors from Hasanuddin University Hospital and Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital as examiners.
The OSCE is a routine activity to ensure students’ readiness to enter professional nursing practice through a structured and objective evaluation that assesses clinical skills, critical thinking, decision-making, therapeutic communication, and professional attitudes in accordance with nursing standards.
The involvement of practitioners and academics is expected to ensure the objectivity of the assessment and provide a realistic picture of nursing service standards in practice.
