The Faculty of Nursing (FKep) at Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held the Bachelor’s Oath-Taking Ceremony for the September 2026 cohort at the FKep Unhas Senate Room, Tamalanrea Campus, on Monday (September 7).
In this cohort, FKep Unhas graduated nine students from the Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Physiotherapy programs. Two graduates achieved the distinction of “Best Graduate”: Elisabet Noma Ulianti Hasugian (Bachelor of Nursing; GPA 3.88 / Cum Laude) and Mufidah Ramadan (Bachelor of Physiotherapy; GPA 3.62 / Very Satisfactory).
The event was presided over by the Dean of FKep Unhas, Prof. Dr. Elly Lilianty Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes., and attended by vice deans, heads of study programs, the graduates, and their parents.
In her address, Dean Prof. Dr. Elly Lilianty Sjattar congratulated all the new graduates on their academic achievements. She emphasized that this oath-taking represents an initial ethical commitment before the graduates advance to higher levels of professional education.
“Through this oath, you instill values of integrity, ethics, and moral responsibility as healthcare professionals from the very beginning. This serves as a character foundation that will fortify you as you navigate the professional training stages and eventually enter the community to serve,” Prof. Elly asserted.
Furthermore, the faculty leadership expressed appreciation to all lecturers and teaching staff who supported the students’ academic journeys and urged the graduates to uphold the good name of their alma mater, Hasanuddin University, wherever they may be.
The event concluded with the recitation of the bachelor’s oath, the presentation of awards to the best graduates, and a group photo with the faculty leadership. (*/sm)
