The Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University held a meeting to discuss plans to open a Musculoskeletal Orthopedic Physiotherapy Specialist Study Program on Thursday, July 16, 2026. The meeting was opened by the Chair of the Faculty of Nursing Senate, Prof. Dr. Kadek Ayu Erika, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., and attended by the Chair of the Hasanuddin University LPMPP, Prof. Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., M.N., Ph.D., the Faculty of Nursing Senate, and the task force team.

The meeting’s agenda covered various aspects of the planned opening of the Musculoskeletal Orthopedic Physiotherapy Specialist Study Program, including a feasibility study, curriculum, resources, and their suitability to the needs of specialist physiotherapy education and services. Through this forum, meeting participants discussed and provided various input as part of the refinement of the study program planning.

Through this meeting, the Faculty of Nursing at Hasanuddin University continues to strengthen its study program development planning as part of its commitment to improving the quality of education. These efforts are made to ensure that the development of study programs is in line with applicable regulations, while also being responsive to community needs and developments in science in the field of physiotherapy.
