To Accelerate Further Doctoral Studies, the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, Holds a Lecturer Meeting

The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, held a meeting with lecturers to discuss strategies for accelerating doctoral studies on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in the Senate Room of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. This activity is part of the faculty’s commitment to improving the academic qualifications of lecturers to support the strengthening of educational quality within the Faculty of Nursing.
Also in attendance were the Dean (Prof. Dr. Elly Lilianty Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes), the Vice Dean for Planning and Human Resources (Dr. Yuliana Syam, S.Kep., Ns., M.Si), and lecturers within the Faculty of Nursing, as part of the commitment to strengthening human resource quality.
In her remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing (Prof. Dr. Elly Lilianty Sjattar, S.Kp., M.Kes.) stated, “We held this meeting with home-based lecturers from the Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Midwifery Study Programs who are still holding Master’s degrees. We focused on developing strategies and plans to accelerate further studies to the Doctoral level (S3). Through this forum, we also encouraged discussion on the direction of lecturers’ academic career development, while strengthening the culture of science and research within the faculty,” she explained.
This meeting is part of the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University’s commitment to improving the capacity of superior and competitive human resources. Increasing the number of doctoral lecturers is expected to strengthen the quality of learning, boost research productivity, and expand the faculty’s academic contribution to addressing the challenges of scientific development and societal needs.
