As a form of implementation of the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Faculty of Nursing Unhas and Niigata University of Health and Welfare, a team consisting of 2 lecturers and 6 students from Niigata University of Health and Welfare visited the Faculty of Nursing Unhas. This visit took place on 18-23 February 2023 consisting of:
- Prof. Masayoshi Kubo, PhD (Director/ Professor, Faculty of Rehabilitation/ Department of Physical Therapy, Graduate School of Health Care and Welfare)
- Mayumi Sato, PhD (Senior Lecturer in Pediatric Nursing, Faculty of Nursing/Department of Nursing)
- Three 3rd year Nursing department students
- Three 3rd year Physiotherapy department students
The series of visits began with (1) a Welcoming from the Dean and Academic Community of FKep UH in the Senate room of FKep UH; (2) a Campus Tour with an introduction to FKep UH laboratory facilities and rooms; (3) a Sit-in lectures by guest students in several Nursing and Physiotherapy Course schedules; (4) Meeting with Hasanuddin University Chancellor; (5) Visits to nursing and physiotherapy services at Unhas RSPTN; (6) Public lecture by Prof. Masayoshi Kubo, PhD; (7) Visits the Wound Clinic (Griya Afiat), Physiotherapy Clinic (Physio Sakti), Minasa Upa Health Center, and Posyandu observations; and (8) Discussion of collaborative research with the lecturers of Nursing and Physiotherapy at FKep UH; and ended with (9) Departure and closing activities of a series of visits by the Academic Community of FKep UH to the guests of Niigata University of Health and Welfare.
