The spiritual aspect becomes important for every individual who is closely related to his relationship with the Creator, other people and his existence in the group/society {E.J. Taylor (2002). Spiritual Care: Nursing Theory, Research and Practice. Upper Saddle Rier, NJ: Prentice Hall}. The health of a person’s spiritual condition is reflected in the beliefs, hopes, meaning and purpose of life, the achievements of the spiritual world, feelings of peace, the ability to love, forgive, pray, worship, their interactions with religious leaders, their relationships with other people, and their interactions with others in sharing their thoughts, feelings and beliefs {S.Moorhead & M.Mass, (2004). Iowa Intervention Project: Nursing Outcomes Classification. St. Louis, MO: Mosby}.

Realizing the importance of the spiritual aspect that is very supportive in achieving the vision and mission of the Study Program, Muslim lecturers’ ta’lim is presented as one way to meet these needs. Friday, September 9, 2016/7 Zulhijjah 1437 H, the inaugural Ta’lim for Muslim lecturers of the Nursing Science Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, took place in the meeting room/senate on the 5th floor. This inaugural ta’lim discussed the Tazkiyatun Nafs side Soul) which raises the topic “Priority of Intention”. The taklim which was guided by Ustazah Ruchwana Tenrisima (Former Chair 3, Student Activity Unit for Mushallah Lovers at Hasanuddin University) emphasized the importance of placing the intention aspect in every activity so that it is worth worshiping in the sight of Allah.

Ta’lim which was opened directly by DR. Ariyanti Saleh as the head of the Nursing Science Study Program took place wisely and provided a special injection of enthusiasm for participants to always improve and renew their intentions in each of their activities only for Allah (ikhlasunniyah). Sincere intention because Allah ta’ala alone can be the biggest impetus for a believer to carry out every mandate and responsibility with full sincerity (mujahadah) and perseverance (itqan) so that it can give birth to the best practice (ihsanul amal) in front of Allah and is beneficial to Allah SWT. humans around.
