The Faculty of Nursing held a Debriefing and Dismissal of Students in the Sakura Science Exchange Program on (12/01) in Room KP 106 F.Kep. The activity was attended by 9 students and 1 lecturer who will depart for Yokohama City University, Japan on 15 – 20 January 2024 to undergo the program.
The activity was attended by Dean F.Kep, Deputy Dean. The present speakers were Jumriani, S.Kep., Ns, Hamisah, S.Ft., Physio., M.Biomed, Dr. Suni Hariati, S.kep., Ns., M.Kep.
The Dean of F.Kep (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si) said in his speech “Congratulations on the selection of students who were selected to take part in Sakura exchange activities at Yokohama City University, I hope that the students can benefit as much as possible. “There are many of these student exchange activities and also use to build networks with Japanese students. We also advise that students are Unhas ambassadors in Japan so they must maintain their attitude at the university where they will be,” said Prof. Ariyanti.

The Sakura Science Exchange Program is a form of collaboration between F.Kep and the School of Nursing, Yokohama City University. WD 1 (Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes.Ph.D) said that “The Sakura Exchange Program is a form of collaboration between F.Kep and the School of Nursing, Yokohama City University which has been going on for 4 years “Lastly, there were 9 students who went and 1 lecturer on a Japanese government scholarship,” explained Syahrul.
The presentation of activity material lasted for 2 days with the topics, The Role of the Nursing Profession in the Implementation of Palliative Care in Hospitals, the Role of the Physiotherapy Profession in the Implementation of Palliative Care in Hospitals and the Concept of Palliative Care for Children.
