F.Kep Unhas once again held the Bachelor’s Oath and Nursing and Physiotherapy Professional Oath taking on Wednesday, (28/05) at the Prof. Amiruddin Auditorium at 08.00 WITA. Attended by the Dean (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si) accompanied by the Vice Deans of F.Kep.
Also present were the Chairperson of the Indonesian Physiotherapy Association of South Sulawesi Province (Muhammad Hatta, S.ST., S.FT), Secretary of the PPNI Organization of South Sulawesi Province (Dr. H. Ismail., S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep) and religious figures.
Dean of F.Kep (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si) in his speech said that “In the process of taking the promise and oath, the professions expressed their willingness to be ready to dive into providing services in the field of nursing and physiotherapy. The service will be carried out properly, in accordance with professional ethics, and correctly and in accordance with the standard procedures applicable in the institution”. He explained.
With this commitment, professionals in the field of nursing and physiotherapy are expected to be able to provide maximum contribution in improving the quality of the health service system.
A total of 245 participants took part in the procession, consisting of 122 undergraduate oath-taking participants with an average study period of 3 years and 7 months, and 123 professional oath-taking participants with an average study period of 1 year and 3 months for the nursing profession and 1 year and 6 months for the physiotherapy profession. In addition, nursing profession graduates achieved a competency test pass rate of 98%, while physiotherapy profession graduates reached 100%.
