The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to develop the Academic Paper and Curriculum for the Doctoral Program in Nursing on August 8-9 at the Aston Hotel in Makassar, starting at 8:00 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time).
The event was attended by the Dean (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si.), the Vice Deans, the Chair and Secretary of the Nursing Program, the Task Force Team, and the Secretary of the Nursing Research and Development Institute (LPMPP) Unhas (Prof. Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D.) as a resource person.
The FGD aimed to formulate a solid academic foundation and curriculum design that aligns with the vision, mission, and needs of nursing science development at the national and international levels. Through in-depth discussions, participants are expected to produce academic papers and curriculum documents that are adaptive to developments in science, technology, and the challenges of global healthcare.
Presentation by Prof. Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D., on the Development of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Higher Education Curriculum. The event also included a panel discussion on feasibility study documents and minimum forms, allowing each participant to provide constructive input.
The interactive FGD reflected a shared commitment to realizing a Doctoral Program in Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, that is superior, globally competitive, and capable of producing graduates who contribute significantly to the development of nursing science and practice.
