The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, welcomed two inbound students from Okayama University, Japan, at an official welcoming ceremony held in the Faculty of Nursing Senate Room on Monday, October 6, 2025. This event marked the start of the collaborative internship program, scheduled to run from October 6 to November 6, 2025.
The welcoming ceremony was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Nursing, Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D., and the Head of the International Office of Hasanuddin University, Andi Masyitha Irwan, S.Kep., Ns., MAN., Ph.D., along with lecturers and the international team from the Faculty of Nursing.
The Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Nursing, Syahrul, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D., expressed his excitement and high hopes for the scientific and cultural exchanges over the coming months. Symbolically, the Japanese students were welcomed as part of the Faculty of Nursing family by receiving temporary student cards, which will allow them to access various campus facilities and activities during their stay.
Following the welcoming session, the delegation toured the faculty and university campus to familiarize them with their new academic environment, including laboratories and libraries. This will hopefully allow them to quickly adapt and experience their internship comfortably and enthusiastically.
