TITAFI XXXVII – The 2025 Indonesian Physiotherapy Annual Scientific Meeting was held at the Four Points by Sheraton Makassar on July 21-23 with the theme “Transforming Physiotherapy Services: Improving Access, Promoting Movement, and Creating a Healthy Society.” The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si.) and Physiotherapy lecturers were also present.
This event provides a strategic opportunity for physiotherapists throughout Indonesia to strengthen collaboration, update their knowledge, and broaden their clinical and academic horizons. Through a series of activities such as symposiums, workshops, and scientific presentations, participants are encouraged to actively contribute to supporting the transformation of physiotherapy services to be more inclusive and evidence-based.
Physiotherapy lecturers actively participated in the Oral Presentation activities, namely Salki Sadmita, S.Ft., Physio, M. Kes, Yery Mustary, S.Ft., Physio, MClinRehab, Melda Putri, S.Ft., Physio, M. Kes, Yusfina, S.Ft., Physio, M., Andi Besse Ahsaniyah, S.Ft., Physio, M. Kes, , Dr. Andi Rizky Arbaim Hasyar, S.Ft., Physio, and Rijal, S. Ft., Physio., M. Kes., M.Sc.PH., PhD who won the Best Oral Presentation award, in addition to Prof. Dr. Djohan, S.Ft., Physio, M.Kes: “Bringing Physiotherapy Services Closer to the Community Through Independent Practice” as a speaker in the Symposium activity. The goal of this activity is to encourage the advancement of more innovative and globally competitive physiotherapy services, while also having a tangible impact on improving the quality of life for the wider community. TITAFI is expected to become a sustainable platform for the exchange of ideas, competency development, and strengthening of the physiotherapy profession in an era of national health system transformation.
