The Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University, welcomed Hinke Van Der Werf, PhD., RN, and Sanne Heinen, MSc, RN, lecturers from Hanze University of Applied Science Groningen, Netherlands, on Monday, September 15th, at 10:00 a.m. WITA, in the Senate Room. The reception began with a welcome from the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing (Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si), accompanied by the Vice Deans and the Faculty of Nursing Internationalization Lecturer Team. The reception for the Hanze delegation was attended by the Vice Dean for Planning and Resources (Dr. Erfina, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep), three Hanze inbound students: Eline Renate van Der Vaart (Nursing), Sophie Gepke Broekema (Nursing), Eline Langedijk (Physiotherapy), the Internationalization Lecturer Team, and several preceptors from Hasanuddin University Hospital and Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital.
The Vice Dean for Planning and Resources (Dr. Erfina, S.Kep Ns., M.Kep) stated that the visit would foster continued collaboration between the two institutions, fostering the development of more programs in the future. “This visit strengthens collaboration between the two institutions. With the inbound students from Hanze University, a number of programs can be realized in the fields of nursing and physiotherapy education and research,” she explained.
The presence of the hospital preceptors serves as a form of support for Hanze University students prior to their internship. Their input and suggestions will inform the internship plan and future expectations.
As part of the visit, Hanze University lecturers will hold a sharing session on Planetary Health and a guest lecture on Health Promotion and Mental Health on September 16-17.
