F.Kep Unhas held a Workshop on Evidence Practice: Implementation in Nursing Service presented by (Dr. Gulzar Malik, RN.,BScN.,BA.,MNsg.,Ph.D.,FHEA) School of Nursing & Midwifery, La Trobe University, Australia on Tuesday, (05/11) at the Unhas Science and Technology Building at 08.00 WITA, participants in the activity were Nursing Masters, S1, Profession and Specialist students of F.Kep. Also attending the activity were the Vice Dean of F.Kep, Head of GPM, and a number of F.Kep Lecturers. The Vice Dean for Partnership, Research and Innovation (Dr. Takdir Tahir) expressed his gratitude to Dr. Gulzar has returned to visit F.Kep Unhas “F.Kep Unhas has collaborated with the School of Nursing La Trobe University and this activity is a form of implementation of this collaboration” (Dr. Gulzar Malik) presented material related to the Implementation of Evidence-Based Nursing Services based on research that has been conducted previously. He explained the importance of this in the health profession, namely in order to have good results for patients, reduce morbidity and mortality, increase the credibility of health professionals, increase empowerment and satisfaction so that they can meet the expectations of public information.
Evidence Based Practice has elements, namely the existence of research evidence, clinical expertise and based on the needs and conditions of patients. The Nursing profession as a health worker is the main role in applying evidence of health services to the community by involving changes in attitudes, behavior and systems.
The activity was continued with a discussion session guided by moderator Andi Baso Tombong, S.Kep., Ns., M.ANP Lecturer F.Kep Unhas with extraordinary enthusiasm from the participants.
